The GIMP – In between those giants

I was quite amazed and surprised when I stumbled upon a blog entry entitled Popular Post Production Software from digital Photography School wherein they have conducted a reader question “Which Post Production Software do you use?” It lead to roughly 200 readers/respondents who had mentioned their preferences from professional to online to free software tools. A lot of our GIMP users/enthusiasts/guerrillas raised GIMP as their preferred tool and they were the very reason behind the result (graph) below.

I took the 2007 Web Design Survey

Good day to everyone stumbled on this personal web area of mine.

Last Saturday evening, 19th of May, I was able to took the Web Design Survey, 2007 conducted and compiled by A List Apart.

I was able to know this survey through the very famous Eric A. and Kathryn S. Meyer web blog post while reading my feeds.

The whole process will took more or less 10 minutes.

I was very happy that my thoughts and ideas were counted to over
30,000 people who had already taken part on this annual survey.

Well, my original plan on this post was to invite other web designers and the like to take the survey. But when I went out and checked their site recently, the web design survey had officially closed.

That’s just lucky me. Let our voice be counted next year. Adios.
