Hello GIMP Community. As the Heart’s Day is fast approaching, I’ve made another simple free desktop wallpaper for you to use. I name this as It’s February Fourteen, A Valentine Wallpaper. Made this with GIMP accompanied with GIMP Brushes: Hearts for the heart shapes and the use of URW Gothic L for the type texture effect.
So, here are the wallpapers in different resolutions.
1600 x 1200
1024 x 768
1280 x 800
NEW: 1680 x 1050
This artwork is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 Philippines. But a simple “Thanks” is fine.
It’s February Fourteen, enjoy and advance Happy Heart’s Day.

walay 1680×1050?
bloody valentine wallpaper, please?!
@Paul. Hmmm… Wide Screen ratio. My base resolution was 1600 x 1200 and just made adjustments on the other resolutions. Try using 1280 x 800. I believe that’ll fit.
@kus. You may change the Hue/Saturation to come up with a bloody color effect. Would like to grab the image source file (.xcf)?
kewL..

@Paul. I added a 1680 x 1050 resolution. It’s quite large in file size.
@Marlo. Wow, quite a lovely KDE4 Desktop. Looks great. I wish GNOME can have that kind of KDE-ish transparency look. Thanks for that post Mon.
@Francis. You’re very much welcome.

You’re welcome Paul. What a huge and sleek desktop you have. The way I see it, Vista and KDE4 (like Marlo’s desktop) is pretty much a like in looks. And yay! For the eye catchy twitter client.
I appreciate your use of It’s February Fourteen.
